Full Day Falconry Experience

This day give you the chance to come face to face with a variety of birds of prey.   Have you ever wanted to fly an Owl? Feed a Hawk on from your gloved fist? Fly a Falcon to the lure at over 100mph?  Or watch an Eagle soar and then glide to your glove when called?  On this experience day you will get to do it all!

As with all of our experiences this day is “hands on” and you will be given the chance to handle all of the different raptors that you meet through out the day. Our personal touch means that there are no large groups or people that you don’t know to spoil your special day.

A typical day consists of:

• Introduction to the falconer and the birds.
• Basic handling techniques for everyone’s safety
• Hawk and Buzzard handling and flying
• Lunch and refreshments (included)
• Falcon and Owl handling and flying.
• Eagle handling and flying.
• refreshments (included)

This experience Starts at 10:00 and concludes at approximately 16:00 (we usually over run), during which time you will have various birds flying to you and being on your arm. We even give you a complimentary CD  of the days photos!  And you can bring your own camera and take as many photos as you like.

All falconry equipment is provided. You only need to wear strong footwear and suitable clothing for the current weather conditions.

Additional members to your group who wish to spectate or take photos but not handle the birds, are only £35 per Adult. Children go for free
