Flying Falcons

Flying falcons is the perfect opportunity to handle and fly the fastest creatures on earth. Their speed and agility is captivating and amazing to witness. In Pembrokeshire’s open countryside, watching our falcons race across the skies and stoop to the lure is an exilerating experience which you will never forget!  This experience is also incorporates our personal touch policy.

Itinerary

• Introduction to the Falcons which you will be flying.
• Correct handling techniques
• The different Falcons and equipment being used
• Lessons in Lure swinging
• Flying a falcon to the lure*
• Feeding your falcon his hard earned meal, on your glove
• Refreshments (included)

This experience lasts approximately 90 minutes, includes handling 2 or more falcons and flying them to the lure and your glove.

All falconry equipment is provided. You only need to wear strong footwear and suitable clothing for the current weather conditions

*Lure swinging is an art which many people pick up straight away, but equally many never grasp even the basics. If you struggle with the lure swinging then we will swing the lure for you, stood by your side. You will see, feel and hear the falcon passing within a metre of you, at high speed, but there will be no risk to either the falcon or yourself.

Additional members to your group who wish to spectate or take photos but not handle the birds, are only £10 per Adult. Children go for free
